There were approximately 7000 whales that passed our shores during whale season last year, keep an eye out on your scenic flight for their signature spray erupting from the ocean, these can be seen kilometres away and are usually followed by a spectacular display showing either the whale rising out of the water or waving a goodbye with their tail before they dive down to the depths.
